(TOWN OF COLESVILLE, NY) - The Broome County Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Services has announced details of the Broome County Parks Winterfest, presented by Broome County Parks, taking place at Nathaniel Cole Park in the Town of Colesville on Saturday, February 10th, 2024.
Winterfest will kick off with a fishing derby beginning with registration at 7 a.m. and officially kicking off at 8 a.m. Final weigh-ins will be at 2:00 p.m. The fishing derby will be weather permitting.
All the other Winterfest activities will take place from 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
This is a FREE family-friendly event that will include kids’ activities, local organizations, music from McRay’s Professional DJ’s, sledding, bonfires, s’mores, hot chocolate, snowshoeing, B.C. Sno Riders Snowmobile Club display, appearance from Rowdy from the Rumble ponies, scavenger hunt and guided interruptive walks by Cornell Cooperative Extension. The event will also include the option to purchase food from Pinkies BBQ.
