BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Department of Public Works announced today that a portion of Loughlin Road, in the Town of Kirkwood will be closed to all traffic for a culvert replacement project beginning Monday, November 1st at 9:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the road will reopen on Monday, November 8th at 5:00 p.m. Local traffic may continue to use Loughlin Road except during the time noted.

The culvert is located approximately 0.80 miles north of the NYS Route 11 intersection with Loughlin Road. A detour will be signed utilizing N. Woodhill Avenue, Victoria Drive, Stratmill Road, Colesville Road and Barlow Road. For additional information please contact the Broome County Department of Public Works at 607.778.2909.
