B.C Transit Announces Bicentennial Contest

BINGHAMTON, NY - Broome County Transit is celebrating Broome County’s 200th birthday by offering riders a chance to win free rides and other prizes.
Beginning today through June 2nd, anyone can fill out an entry form at the BC Junction located at 44 Hawley St., at the Broome Employment Center, W.E.R.C. Program office located at 171 Front St., the BC Transit Administrative Office located at 413 Mill Road in Vestal, or on the BC Transit website www.goBroomeCounty.com.
One lucky winner’s name will be drawn by Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala on the day of the Bicentennial Parade. That winner will receive the following:
- One BC Transit 31 day pass OR free rides for one calendar month on either BC Lift OR BC Country, (You must be a current BC Lift or BC Country rider) and;
- One official BC Transit hat and golf shirt, and;
- $50 Boscov’s Gift Certificate, and;
- $50 Zazou Restaurant Gift Certificate.
You need not be present at the drawing to win and only one contest entry form per person is allowed. Broome County employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the contest. All entries are due by 5pm on June 2nd, 2006. BC Transit will contact the winner following the drawing.
