BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Department of Social Services and the Broome County Youth Bureau will be hosting a Community Forum on Friday August 18, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Broome County Public Library. The purpose of the forum is to seek community input on the development of an three year plan for services to Children, Families, Youth and vulnerable Adults. The services included in the plan are Child Protective Services, Foster Care and Adoption Services, Preventive Services, Protective Services for Adults, Day Care Services, Youth Development Services and Services to Runaway and Homeless Youth. The public is invited. Anyone who is interested in commenting on these services is encouraged to attend.
